Although, we had to sell our farm a few years ago, we still live in the same area, now with only one horse and a  rescue mini horse, our dogs and cats. Autumn of 2006

Our Farm was located in the Hudson Valley, New York State, where we have been living since the summer of 1999. It is the realization of a lifelong dream to live on beautiful land in the countryside.

In Switzerland as a young girl I used to spend a lot of time on a family farm. I always pictured myself one day owning my own chickens, dogs and horses. I am learning so much by being on my farm, close to nature. Getting through the first winter was really a test of stamina and endurance.

My boys have also grown to love the country life and are very helpful with the work around the horses. They especially love to play with their cats. The space on the farm gives them room and inspiration for using their imagination for adventure games. 

Our Family consists of my four sons, four horses, assorted cats and our boxer Tara, and collie puppy Duncan. This spring we added chickens and guinea hens. Mom would like some alpacas and maybe a few sheep and peacocks to join the menagerie.

In the future, we are planning to grow our own organic food and learn to utilize our greenhouse. We would like to invite a person who has knowledge of herbal medicine and remedies, to grow herbs on our land.
